So cute! Chris and Kelly.
Note short depth of field. This is probably F1.4 on the Nikon 50mm.
I let the D70 auto-expose in this light, but the autofocus was nowhere near working.

Dorothy, possibly trying to figure out who exactly let some of us (OK, me) into
BU,
and whether our (OK, my) performance as a graduate will reflect poorly on
her future PhD from that same school.
Sil'd against the lights of Boylston St, and slightly less in shadow thanks to Photoshop.
Here I am at Bukowski's
later, with my gaze fixed on a beer!
Shot by Emily or Andrea, I can't recall.

I like Andrea, and she likes
Hefeweizen,
which she is capable of consuming in significant quantities.
This photo shows
you how she does it.

And, slightly corrected in Photoshop, here's Emily,
or rather, her fingers and her beer glass.
If it had been a photograph of Emily, she would have been
in focus, instead of her fingers.
Clearly this was intended to be a
advertisement for fingernail polish, or empty beer glasses, or
something.
Sorry Em.
Thanks for coming out, y'all!
Photos with the Levine's rental D70 and F/1.4 prime focus lens. Full frame as shot. Unmanipulated except where it's obvious or declared. Note that with the 1.5x crop on the D70's sensor, 50 mm is a lot like 75mm, so this is a portraiture lens. For real 50mm-like perspective you'd want a 35mm lens.
