The JPG Exifs suggest the DSP is made by: Taiwan's Service and Quality Technology Co. Ltd (S&Q)

Features

no flash
no display
no removable memory
fixed focus
fixed focal length
image memory is SDRAM; can't survive battery replacement
300 kilopixels, or 640x480
reported frequent memory corruption leading to picture loss
JPGs can be corrupted even when memory doesn't crash

Why?

Jealous of girlfriend's cameraphone, allowing (crappy) pictures everywhere on the spur of the moment.
Camera measures: 1.5 x 2.25 x 0.5 inches (H x W x D)

I conclude that this camera is worth USD $15.
