Save Yourself
(lyrics and music by Harri Palm)
Harry has been working the floor mines of this industry longer than
I've been alive. I was amazed to discover that in all the 15 years
he has been playing in Common Ground they have never recorded a
single note. "Save Yourself," like a lot of Harry's tunes, depicts
a way of life unique to Harri Palm: the woodsman, always on a quest
for the sublime, in this case enjoying life for all its bumps and
turns. Harri plays his strat like a locomotive streamtrain cutting
a line through the midnight star-filled landscape, feeling every
note, feeling the air against him, flattening pennies on the
track.
Thanks, Harri. - Nick
