Things I lost on my vacation to Scotland

  1. 1 Scientific American, June 2002, left on flight AC856.
  2. Gerber multitool, surrendered at security in Edinburgh after I was thoroughly searched. I stowed it on the way there, but I forgot on the way back. No time to go back to baggage check, since I was nearly late for my plane.
  3. some faith in humanity
  4. some cynicism about healing
  5. some overconfidence at Sgurr Alasdair
  6. some fear of dancing at a Ceilidh
Pretty good ratio of loss to gain. I am very glad I went.
