Mizzy Lake Trail in Algonquin Park, Ontario.

Off Highway 60 on the Park Corridor, at km 15.4.

The park web site tells us that this 11 km trail requires an early start and a full day to do properly. It visits nine ponds and small lakes and affords some of the best chances to see wildlife in the Parkway Corridor.

That's me at Wolf Howl Pond on the Mizzy Lake Trail.
We saw nearly no animals this trip on the trail, yet a week
later, with Jawn and D, we saw a gorgeous big turtle
and a very bold little beaver.
